How do I apply hair dye

1. Always do a patch and strand test in advance. If this is your first time dyeing your hair, we recommend that you read the in-depth FAQ about hair dye on our website!

2. Pre-lighten your hair with our GHOSTED Hair Lightening Kit. Please note that to achieve the vibrant color shown you will need to pre-lighten your hair to a very light blonde color (the lighter the better). If you do not light up beforehand, the color achieved will depend on:

Your natural hair color (the lighter your hair, the stronger the result).

3. Wash your hair with the Holyplex No1 Purify cleansing shampoo. Do not use conditioner!

4. Dry your hair with a towel.

5. Apply petroleum jelly or similar around your hairline and ears to prevent staining.

6. Apply DYE WITH ATTITUDE hair color evenly, starting at the roots and working it through to the ends using gloves and a hair dye brush.

7. Leave on for at least 15 - 30 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with cold/lukewarm water until water runs clear. The color will fade with every wash, we recommend washing with cold water to keep the color. For best results, use the Holyplex Hair Care Line to keep your hair in the best condition.
