Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
I was wearing a diluted sunset orange from arctic fox, I might have mixed it with something else but I don't recal what.
How does this hair colour make you feel?
I think orange is great for summer to brighten up my life. If makes me feel fresh and happy.
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
I was growing out a pink dye. I did a quick bleach bath before I applied the orange dye.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
Arctic fox has become my favourite for all colours exept pink, I use hot hot pink from manic panic. Their dyes are super pigmented, stay bright for at least 2-4 weeks and smell great.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
When dyeing your hair for the first time always bleach it before, preferably at by a professional. Don't expect colours to stay vibrant for weeks if you wash your hair a lot. Limit washing to a maximum of 2 times a week. Use shampoo that is meant for keeping hairdye looking good.
