Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
I used Hermans Amazing green in Maggie and Manic Panic Amplified Green Envy. It's a little difficult to find the perfect shade that doesn't have too much blue in it, but Manic Panic especially is the perfect green!
How does this hair colour make you feel?
I love having green hair, it feels the most me of all the colours I've tried. It also poppes out beautifully in contrast to black clothes.
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
I tried having partially black and partially green hair before this, so I had to bleach out the black. My own hair is quite fair but I don't think I'm a proper blonde. My hair was somewhat orange toned after bleaching it twice, but the colour turned out really nice.
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
Manic Panic Amplified, it's vibrant and lasts long in my hair despite having to wash it quite often.
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Make sure your hair is evenly bleached before you start applying a new colour to it. Also make sure you have enough dye to cover it all so you don't end up with accidental uncoloured spots. Work in sections to make sure everything is covered. I like to wrap my hair in cling film after I've applied the green.
