Which brand & colour are you wearing in your picture?
In this look I used Turquoise on the roots and Apple Green on the ends, both from La Riche Directions and I just really love this brand for their beautiful pigments and low maintenance :-)
How does this hair colour make you feel?
Absolutely! Turquoise was the first color I went for when I decided it was time for a creative change, young 15 year old me was so happy, and I still really dig the blue/green on me
How was your hair before you applied the colour (ie pre-bleached, growing out old colour, etc)?
I was growing it out from a buzz cut back then and just wanted to keep it fun so I wouldn't shave it off again. I believe my hair was faded lilac before this color
What is your favourite hair dye brand and what is so great about it?
I always use directions, it feels legit, my hairdresser uses it so I feel like a professional :-) their pigments are really beautiful and their colors don't fade very quickly in my opinion
Your no.1 advice for dyeing your own hair is:
Alright so this is my second entry, so you might find the following sentence in another entry "listen to your inner Brad Mondo" a lot of people come to me for advice on dyeing their hair and somehow I always disappoint them by saying "please do not bleach it twice on one day" sweetie, I just saved your hair, thank me later. Give your hair some time to breathe, be nice to it :-)
